Long over-due

Today, I finally made, and personally delivered my daughter and son-in-law's second anniversary card.  I am embarrassed to admit it was long over-due, but I hope they think it was worth the wait.  So, not to keep you waiting as well, here it is:

It is a small card as the finished measurement is 3-1/4" x 4-3/8".  But it is just the right size to attach a gift card to the inside flap.  The stamp sets used were:  Cheers to You and Teeny Tiny Wishes (my new go-to sentiment set!).  I used the new Crumb Cake (previously known as Kraft) card stock for the card base with Soft Suede and Very Vanilla for my layers.  The stemware and the sentiment are both embossed using Versamark and Soft Suede ink with clear embossing powder.  I punched the sentiment out with my trusty Word Window Punch.  Dazzling Diamonds Glitter sprinkled over top of Crystal Effects added just the right amount of "bubbly" to the champagne.  The finishing touch was a little piece of Early Espresso 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and a small bow attached with a mini glue dot. 

I have a few more weddings to attend this summer and might just make a couple more of these and switch the sentiment to 'For the Newlyweds' from Teeny Tiny Wishes!

Crazy For Cupcakes Class

 

Make your next birthday celebration an event to remember when you gift your friend or loved one with this mouth-watering, cupcake-themed card set! In this class, we will be making the four cards pictured above as well as the adorable cupcake box that holds all of the cards.

• Class includes all consumable supplies needed to complete all five projects PLUS detailed, printed instructions for you to take home so that you can reproduce these projects. 
• I supply Stampin' Up! glue sticks for your use in class, if you prefer another type of adhesive, feel free to bring your own. 
• Please bring your own personal paper trimmer and paper snips if you have them in order to save on time (mine will be available for use by anyone who doesn't bring them)
• I will have a light snack and bottled water available during class.  If you prefer to bring your own beverage, please be sure it is in a bottle with a screw-on lid so that we avoid spills and ruined projects.

Instructions:

1. Fold 8-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Bashful Blue card stock in half to create a triangle.  Fold front of triangle down so tip of flap is approximately 1/2" from bottom edge.  Fold right side of triangle in so that top edge of side is even with top edge of flap.  Repeat with left side.  Pull right and left sides back and pull flap up, then fold right and left sides in fold flap over.
2. Stamp dots image repeatedly in VersaMark on inside of pouch.  Wrap 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon around pouch and adhere.
3. Round corners of 3" x 2" piece of Pretty In Pink using 3/ 16" Corner Rounder Punch.  Adhere 3" x 1/4" piece of Old Olive to Pretty In Pink piece.
4. Stamp 'A Little Yummy For Your Tummy' in Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White card stock.  Cut out image.  Stamp heart image in Rose Red ink on Rose Red card stock.  Cut out heart and adhere to yummy piece.  Adhere to Pretty In Pink piece using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Adhere entire piece to Bashful Blue pouch using Stampin' Dimensionals.
5. Tie a piece of 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon in a knot and adhere to left side of pouch using Mini Glue Dot.
